OOG Cargo
2024-04-28

    OOG, is the abbreviation of Out Of Gauge which describes any cargo that cannot be loaded into six-sided shipping containers due to its size. All cargo that exceeds the dimensions of a 20 or 40 foot container is considered OOG cargo. There are many types of OOG container, such as: OT (open top), FR (flat rack), ISO Tank etc.

  • OT (Open Top) Container

     What is an Open Top Container? OT containers have an open top covered by a tarp instead of a solid roof. This enables oversized cargo such as timber and scrap metal to be loaded from the top. OT containers normally also have end doors, like closed containers, to give flexibility for loading and unloading.

     Compared with the conventional container, this container can not only open the back door of the container, but also use a crane to load and unload the cargo from the top of the box, which is suitable for large machine transportation, ultra -high transportation, etc. Because there is no top, it is necessary to prevent waterproof and other protection of the goods. Generally, there will be a foldable tent, with a waterproof canvas cover and a iron -tumbling device with iron.

    The size of the commonly used OT containers are 20 feet (20'OT) and 40 feet (40'OT). The size can be referred to as follows::

Type/Meas

20’OT

40’OT

Inner Meas(m):

5.89*2.32*2.32

12.02*2.32*2.32

Payload(ton):

28

28.5

Note: Because the OT container has one less top, it is not as stable as the ordinary container in terms of stability, so the load is not as good as that of ordinary containers. and the height of the cargo that can be carried is basically limited to less than 4m due to the safety reason.

OOG cargo:

           ball mill, excavator, mixer, embroidery machine, porcelain manufacturing machine, steel furnace, crusher, polishing machine, fish fed machine, slag irrigation machine, slate, truck, crane, etc.

  • FR (Flat Rack) Container

    The FR container does not have the top and side walls, and sometimes only the bottom plate and the four corner columns are left. It is used for transporting or storing cargo with a unique dimension. As the name implies, the container is flat and cargo can be loaded either from the sides or from the top.

     Given that this container does not have the roof and the side walls, we can easily load the large and special forms of goods from the top or side. Therefore, the FR container can easily store and transport heavy or oversized goods, such as machinery, wood, pipelines, large vehicles, etc. The biggest advantage of the FR container is multifunctional. As long as it meets the payload, you can load almost any size or type of goods with it.

      The size of the commonly used FR containers are 20 feet (20'FR) and 40 feet (40'FR). The size can be referred to as follows::

Type

20’FR

40’FR

Inner Size(m):

5.65*2.03*2.073

11.784*2.03*1.943

Payload(ton):

27

39

Note: The bottom plate height of the 20FR is 2.2 meters, the bottom plate height of the 40FR is 1.95 meters. The thicker the bottom plate, the greater the space occupied, and the less load.

FR cargo:

     The FR container is mainly loaded with large -scale machinery and equipment transportation and high -weight large -piece cargo transportation with high -length, wide, and high -high weights. Such as heavy machinery, steel, wood, etc., there are specific ball mills, tower cranes, lifts, steam turbines, generators, pile drivers, boilers, tower cranes, condenser, sugar equipment, etc.

  • 罐式柜

The international standard ISO Tank is a stainless steel pressure container installed and fastened in the external frame. Most of the biliary in the tank is made of 316 stainless steel. Most Tanks include steam or electric heating devices, inert gas protection devices, decompression devices and other fluid transportation and loading and unloadable equipment.

        ISO Tank containers are used to transport and store hazards and non -dangerous materials, such as liquid, powder and gas. The stainless steel of ISO storage tank has an insulation function and a protective layer with aluminum or polyurethane, which makes them a safe and reliable choice to transport various materials.

        ISO Tank cargo:

          Liquid, gases, powder, chemicals, easy to rot and rotten foods, alcohol, and alcoholic liquid etc.

Reefer Container

      Reefer Container is a speial container which has external and built-in types that can be adjusted between -60 ° C ~ +30 ° C.

     The built-in container can start the freezer at will during transportation, so that the container is kept at a specified temperature; the external formula must rely on the freezer of the freezer, the freezer and the stacking station storage station to refrigerate.
